In September 2011, News-One broke a story that a Japanese beauty queen by name Arisa had fallen head-over-heels in love with Ghanaian hiplife/hiphop artiste 'Aletse' Tinny, known in private life as Nii Addo Quaynor, and reports say the two are still dating with their photographs now reaching the media.
The two were the center of attention at the Exopa burg in Accra last Saturday when they turned up for a modeling competition.
Tinny and his lover arrived at the event very late when the auditorium was packed and unfortunately for them, the sitting arrangement was such that they had to walk on the red carpet that had been flanked by a curious audience.
While most people stole glances at the hiplife star and his light-skinned beauty, the whispered gossips about them was almost audible.
Not long ago, they two were also spotted at the poolside of the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra, having a good time and doing what lovers do.
News-One has spotted the two at a couple of places having fun in a romantic style. Arisa is also said to have become a regular member of the team Tinny moves around with.
The lady is so much in love with Tinny that she actually follows him to play football with his male friends, follows him to the studio and attends his entertainment shows. A source from Tinny�s camp said the two do not want to be seen in the media and have vowed never to speak about their relationship.
Though not proved beyond doubt, reports say Tinny may soon be travelling to Japan with Arisa for a traditional marriage ceremony.
