Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo says the NDC is poised to win by a wide margin in the Brong Ahafo region in this year�s election because of the massive development works it has undertaken in the region. As well, the people of Brong Ahafo will not deny themselves the opportunity of having the first lady of the land hailing from the region. The current First Lady, Lordina Mahama hails from Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo region. Speaking in an interview with Adom news during the visit of the parliamentary press corps to the Regional Coordinating Council, Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo said the citizens of the region were proud of their daughter and would do all in their power to ensure the NDC wins the December poll to bring glory to the region. Apart from the draw factor of the First Lady, Mr Nyamekye Marfo insisted the region has also had its fair share of the national development cake from the ruling NDC and the chiefs and people would return the good works of the government with their votes. The regional minister described the level of development the ruling NDC has brought to the people in the region as unprecedented in the almost four years it has been in power, and the region was poised to vote massively for NDC. He called on party supporters to unite and rally behind President John Mahama to ensure the NDC is voted back into office to continue with its Better Ghana Agenda
