Soulama Abdoulaye Not Keen On Kotoko Captaincy Role

The goalkeeper of Asante Kotoko Soulama Abdoulaye has said he is not keen on taking the armband of the Porcupine Warriors after team-mate Isaac Amoako resigned as captain of the side. The Burkinabe goalkeeper said he prefers to stay off that position in order to focus on his performance and since he has been there before it will be appropriate to designate another person for it. No, no, no... because I was captain 2009-2010, captainship is not in my mind. I just want to concentrate and do my best for the team, Abdoulaye told Goal.com Ghana. I believe we can do very well in the coming season and also in the Caf Champions League, all is for us to trust in God, train hard and pray. Abdoulaye's name cropped up together with last season's stand in skippers Daniel Nii Adjei and Ohene Brenya as the players to be considered for the captaincy on permanent basis.
