Prez Mahama Must Crack The Whip On Boateng Gyan - NPP

A Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Yaw Buabeng Asamoah is calling on President Mahama to offer up the National Organizer of the NDC to the security operatives for questioning. The National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Yaw Boateng Gyan has been implicated in a tape recording promising to help recruit party foot soldiers to join the countrys security agencies to help the partys agenda in the December elections. The 35-minute recording is reported to have been made at a meeting which the national organizer held with party foot soldiers about two months ago. Yaw Buabeng Asamoah told XYZ News the conduct of the organizer is criminal and cast doubt on President Mahamas commitment to peaceful elections. According to Mr. Asamoah, with Mr. Boateng Gyans position as a presidential staffer and advisor, it is important that the president deals with him the best way possible to prove that his message of peace is not a mere rhetoric. But the Propaganda Secretary of the NDC says there is nothing incriminating about Mr. Boateng Gyans comments. Richard Quashiga says contrary to Nana Addos all-die-be-die comments, the NDC National Organizer was only urging foot soldiers to gather intelligence information. He said Mr Boateng Gyan was only urging the supporters to keep hope alive in the party.
