The Police Administration has reacted to reports that the Electoral Commissioner, Dr Kwadjo Afari-Djan says he has received death threats over the creation of the proposed 45 constituencies. Director of Operations at the Police CID Headquarters, ACP Frank Kwofie, disclosed to Radio Ghana�s correspondent that the Police will meet in Accra to determine the next line of action on the matter. He said the police also plan to meet with the Electoral Commissioner to conduct further investigations since Dr Afari-Djan has not made a formal complaint to the police. ACP Kwofie cautions the public that any attempts by a section to mar the current peaceful environment will be dealt with accordingly.
