MTN Ghana supports Axim Kundum Festival

The management of MTN Ghana has assured the Ghanaian public of quality and uninterrupted service to ensure good communication. Mr Samuel Appiah, Senior Manager for South-West Business of MTN, said in that regard, management was vigorously addressing the challenges impeding smooth communication. He blamed the occasional break in transmission on road contractors who in the event of constructing roads destroyed the underground cables. Mr Appiah said this when he donated a cash of GH3,000 and other items to the Upper and Lower Axim Traditional Councils towards the celebration of their Kundum Festival which comes off next Saturday. The other products were recharge cards worth GHC500.00, drinks, footballs, T shirts and other MTN souvenirs. Mr Appiah said management of MTN aimed at ensuring rapid development and progress in its operational areas and would, therefore, support any event that addressed this objective. Nana Edusei, Chief of Brawie in Upper Axim, on behalf of the traditional councils, thanked the donors and said MTN Ghana had assisted in development of some projects in the area which includes a secondary school and supporting pupil teachers. He, however, appealed to MTN to help build a library for the schools.
