Due to criticisms by the public that the Computerised Schools Selection and Placement System, CSSPS is not transparent, the Ghana Education Service has met with the media and some stakeholders in the education sector to demonstrate how the placement of the 30 percent catchment area which is ready was done.
For this year, 374, 161 students registered but 151, 251 vacancies have been declared available.
The Minister of Education, Lee Ocran who was present, said the CSSPS is transparent since it is based on merit and availability of vacancy.
