A Vote For NDC Is Vote For Hopelessness - NPP

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has cautioned Ghanaians to refrain from voting for a John Dramani Mahama-led government because per its analysis of the political atmosphere, Ghanaians will be votig for a corrupt and indecisive government. Addressing a press conference in Accra on Tuesday, a Deputy Communication Director of the main opposition party, Yaw Buabeng Asamoah noted that considering the performance of President Mahama, Ghana does not have a caring president. Citing portions of the President's first published work of literature, My First Coup dtat, Mr. Asamoah accused the President of suffering from a chronic case of indecisiveness. In his opinion, President Mahama cannot be trusted by Ghanaians. Referencing the much-touted mantra of delivering a better Ghana - a campaign message adopted by President Mahama following the demise of President Mills - the NPP cautioned that the current administration had failed to deliver a single major item that was promised. Citing the failure of promises such as the Tamale Airport, stadia projects and other social relief initiatives among others, Mr Buabeng Asamoah said gargantuan fraud and a careless disregard for the use of public funds had been delivered to the populace instead. The NPP Deputy Communication Director also accused the current government of being responsible for borrowing more money than previous administrations combined. He pointed out that the evidence shows that the true meaning of working for you is working for themselves because scandals such as the infamous Woyome judgment debt, CP, Africa Automobile cases gave evidence that the government could be receiving a generous cut. In his opinion President Mahama will have to account to Ghanaians all the monies they have squandered.
