Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, wife of the NPP presidential candidate, has been specially invited to address a Durbar in Ningo being held in her honour. The Chief and people of the area regard her as their daughter as her late mother hailed from Ningo. It is expected that Mrs Akufo-Addo, affectionately known as Auntie Becky, will speak of her interest in social issues affecting women, children and youth and about ways to help improve the quality of their lives. She also visited the area last month to donate some items and to celebrate with them as they marked the Homowo festival.
