The wife of the NPP flagbearer, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has called on the people of Ningo in the Greater Accra Region to reject the NDC in this year�s election.
Addressing a durbar of Chiefs and people in the area, Mrs. Akufo-Addo stated that the NDC administration has failed to develop the Ningo area despite the massive support it enjoys from the people.
�Ningo has not experienced any development. No amenities have been extended to Ningo. I am concerned about the fact that under this government, people have to buy every drop of water they need to use in their house. Today, a bucket of water is GH 40p and sometimes, it is even a struggle to get that bucket of water,� she said.
Adding that �I also know how the Ningo people feel about the disrespectful treatment meted out to the Ningo traditional council as regard the issue of the Ningo-Prampram District Assembly. After consistently voting for the NDC and returning the NDC candidate to Parliament since 1977, they now realize that Ningo is being taken for granted by the NDC.�
