The Minister of Employment and Social Welfare, Moses Asaga, has asked supporters of the National Democratic Congress, NDC and New Patroitic Party, NPP in the Upper East and Upper West regions to unite as the elections draw nearer. He reminded them that they are one people seeking the common interest of development and should not do anything that will jeopardise the peace in the area. Mr. Asaga said this at this year's Dagaaba/ Frafra Friendship Games in Accra. The event was on the theme "Sustaining peace, friendship and unity among ethnic communities ahead of the December polls".
