I am Not A Spare Tyre Prez Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has responded to his critics who have described him as a care taker saying, I am not a spare tyre. The NPP has on several platforms described the Mahama/Amissah-Arthur led government as a caretaker administration. But addressing NDC supporters at a mini rally at Juapong in the Volta Region on Wednesday, President Mahama mentioned that some people have called me a spare tyre, others say my government is a care taker government. What they dont know is that its God who chooses leaders. They can call me a spare tyre but is it is God Almighty who will decide. According to him, he is God sent and therefore called on party members to remain focused as divinity would determine the outcome of the 2012 December polls. President Mahama also promised the people of Dorfor Traditional area that government fulfill the whishes by making Juapong the capital of the new district created in the area. He stated that the issue of the district has brought quiet a lot of tension and concerns in this area. Let me say the creation of districts in this country is a process that we have been undertaking from time to time and as communities qualify we progress them into district, municipal or metro status. I appeal to you to be tolerant and patient, the NDC is your party and I assure you that during the period of the presidency of [John Dramani Mahama] you will get your heart desire, he added.
