Wa Detachment Base To Be Upgraded To Full Barracks
The Military High Command intends to upgrade the Wa Detachment Base in the Upper West Region to a befitting modern Barracks in the not too distant future.
To this end, the Command has appealed to the Regional Coordinating Council to allocate a piece of land to serve this very purpose to enhance the operations of the Military in the region.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Augustine Blay stated, this when he paid a courtesy call on the Regional Minister, Alhaji Amidu Sulemana at Wa.
