The Minister of Transport, Alhaji Collins Dauda, says his Ministry has prioritised the infrastructure development in the maritime and inland waterways sub-sector to address the rising congestion at the ports.
In this regard, the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority will commence the construction of phase one of the Takoradi Port Expansion Project, as well as the construction of a new Jetty in the Tema Port basin to create additional berths for cargo vessels.
Alhaji Dauda said this when he took his turn at the meet the Press Series in Accra.
