A Deputy Information Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has sued the New Patriotic Party�s (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin North, Kennedy Agyapong and an Accra based radio station Oman Fm for defamation. According to Mr. Ablakwa, Mr. Agyepong insulted him on a programme called Boiling Point on Oman FM earlier this month. The Deputy Minister is now seeking an injunction to restrain the MP from further commenting on issues relating to him. He is also seeking an amount of GHC 500,000 in damages from the MP. Portions of the tape recording from the said radio programme presented to the court by Mr. Ablakwa stated that �that guy with those teeth of his, he is a bad boy, he is a bad boy. God did not intentionally make them like that. He is very, very bad boy��� Mr. Agyapong continued saying, ��� you see that guy and those teeth of his? Don�t you believe that God knows each one of us by his character and accordingly gave him those features? Have you seen his teeth? I look at this boy now; it reminds me of when he came with those teeth of his to parliament house with his hands behind him to collect money from me, do you realize the kind of mindset he possesses?"
