The Presidential candidate of the PNC, Hassan Ayariga has mentioned that he was nervous at certain times during the IEA Presidential debate on Tuesday.
The Presidential encounter between the four presidential aspirants was to enable them layout their plans and policies and also battle each other on issues.
The PNC presidential candidate Hassan Ayariga however has come under criticism from many quarters for underperforming at the event.
In a telephone interview with Rashida Nasamu on e.tv, Mr. Ayariga told the host that his performance was better than some of his opponents on the day.
According to Mr. Ayariga, what was intended to be a presidential debate by the IEA for him, was not a presidential debate. This he attributes to the fact that other contenders in the debate came in with reference materials which led to his nervousness.
