NDC Manufacturing Fake Akufo-Addo Tape

The New Statesman has uncovered a sinister plot by the ruling National Democratic Congress to manufacture fake audio tapes containing doctored voices of leading members of the New Patriotic Party, and important members of society. The New Statesman can confirm that next on the list of tapes to be dispatched into the public domain will be that of the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Sources close to the NDC tape manufacturing department has hinted the paper that the alleged voice to be released into the public domain seeks to create the impression that the NPP Presidential Candidate has been insulting one of the most prominent traditional rulers in the country. After being told by their foreign campaign strategists that the only way to win the December election, on the back of non-performance during their tenure in office and no catchy campaign message, is to go negative and attack the personalities of the Nana Akufo-Addo and leading members of the party. Opinion polls and focus group discussions conducted by these NDC strategists have revealed in no uncertain terms that the NDC is losing the December elections, with no possible means of averting the impending defeat apart from going negative. This move by the NDC has resulted in the churning out of fake audio tapes of NPP firebrand and Member of Parliament for Lawra, Anthony Abaayifa Karbo, and thee piecing together of comments made by Pastor Mensah Otabil to give the impression that he was against the free SHS policy of the New Patriotic Party. Also advice from these NDC strategists has resulted in President Mahama playing the tribal card and whipping up ethnic sentiments, asking the Northerners to vote for their own.
