I'll No Longer Tolerate Any Acts Of Intimidation - Ursula Owusu

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for the Ablekuma West constituency, Ursula Owusu has issued a warning to supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) that she will no longer tolerate any acts of intimidation meted out to her supporters. Speaking to Citi FM's Abdul Karim Nantogmah, the NPP firebrand noted that she was going to resist all acts of political violence within the constituency because, We [the NPP] are ready to meet the NDC boot for boot and fire for fire if they think they can continue to intimidate us to win power. According to her her main opponent; NDC Parliamentary candidate, Victoria Hammah, was behind the destruction of NPP Billboards and posters in the Ablekuma West constituency. Childish tantrums and stance like this do not impress or frighten anyone, she should grow up; we want the NDC to know that we will resist any further acts of intimidation and violence they plan and are ready to face them prior to and on election day if they dare provoke us again but we will not cast the first stone. According Ursula Owusu, the NDC candidate was destroying her campaign materials because she was afraid of defeat. She recalled, While we were asleep sorrowfully that night and in utter disrespect for the memory of Alhaji Aliu Mahama and in total disregard for the enormity for our collective loss and pain, the NDC led by Victoria Hammah and Dickson, her campaign organizer; organized thugs to destroy all NPP Billboards, banners, flags and posters along the entire length of the Dansoman high street from the roundabout to Dansoman last stop. Even the flag directly in front of the Dansoman police station was not spared showing the level of impunity exhibited by these heartless people; the systematic destruction of all our campaign materials lead us to the inevitable conclusion that this action was planned at the highest level in the NDC and implemented when we in the NPP were most vulnerable as we were focused on the death of Alhaji Aliu Mahama. Madam Ursula Owusu called urged residents of the area to vote massively for the NPP on December 7. I urge all residents of Ablekuma West to reject this destroyer and vote for a serious minded person with a proven record of service to the community and the nation. Meanwhile, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma West Constituency, Madam Victoria Hammah has denied the allegations saying, It doesnt make sense and basic human logic that a person like myself who has an interest in this election will go and break down the Billboards of an opponent candidate, it doesnt make sense and it is waste of time. She accused Madam Ursula Owusu of using social media platforms to attack her personality.
