Ayarigas Mother Appeals To Ghanaians

The mother of Hassan Ayariga, Presidential candidate of the Peoples National Convention (PNC), Hajia Hanatu Mohammed, has appealed to the good people of Ghana to give her son the support and nod in the December2012 polls since he is capable and committed to transforming the country for the better. She said her son, despite being the youngest presidential candidate in the general election, was determined and passionate about seeing Ghana catch up with the developed world, where he spent some years. Occasionally smiling, she told the Daily Graphic at her residence in Bawku that Mr.Ayariga, 40, should be given all the necessary support and encouragement to change the destiny of the county rather than be discouraged. The youth who are in the majority today, Madam Mohammed said, needed someone of their own kind to inspire them to attain greater heights in life and that her son has taken it upon himself to champion their cause and inspire the youth. Hassan believes nothing is impossible in life so far as you are determined, she said. She said at a very tender age, Mr. Ayariga always had a big dream and so was not surprised at his intention of contesting for the highest office of the land. Madam Mohammed said Mr. Ayariga was forceful and hardworking, ever ready to get things done right no matter the difficulties involved. When he was in school he asked e to give him all the necessary support. I also told him that I would give my all even if he wanted to become president, she said adding that this was many years ago. She said she was, therefore, supporting her son, physically, mentally and spiritually for him to achieve his dream of becoming the president of Ghana. As her contribution to enable her son to ascend the throne of President, Madam Mohammed said she was praying fervently for him to achieve his dream and come and serve the people of Ghana. At a young age, she said, Mr. Ayariga had a lot of friends around him, and did not fight or quarrel with them. She said her son was disciplined and qualified to rule the county, adding that age was not a problem. Madam Mohammed said she was not surprised that among Mr. Ayarigas plans and programmes for the country was his zeal to get the youth empowered since he always wanted those around him to also succeed in life. I would give him all the encouragement he needs to achieve whatever he wants to achieve in life, she said, and urged parents to always encourage and speak well about their children.
