Sonnie Badu Tours Churches Ahead of December 1 Concert

Ghanaian-international gospel singer Sonnie Badu has embarked on a tour of a number of churches with his singing ministry ahead of the December 1 Let Peace Rain Concert. The tour has seen Sonnie Badus singing ministry visiting the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the International Central Gospel Church, Asylum Down branch headed by gospel minister and preacher Pastor Josh Laryea, the Lighthouse Chapel International, Quodesh and the Harvest Chapel. Last weekend, Sonnie Badu and his team also visited the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre where the Gospel Light Church held a gathering of their entire members from the different branches across the country. The tour is aimed at bringing Sonnie Badus ministry to Christians while creating awareness of the hugely anticipated Let Peace Rain Concert set to be staged on December 1 at the Accra International Conference Center. The tour is expected to continue in the coming week and sources close to the team say ticket sales in the various churches have been encouraging. South African legend Lionel Petersen is also expected to arrive in the country soon in preparation for the concert. Meanwhile, local acts billed to perform at the concert, Ohemaa Mercy, ASP Kofi Sarpong, Cwasi Oteng and Nii Okai, have promised a spirit filled concert to remember as they make various media appearances ahead of the concert. Tickets for the concert are available for GH40 regular and GH70 for VIP tickets at the Joy FM front desk. The Sonnie Badu Let Peace Rain Concert is powered by Empire Entertainment and Media GH; under the auspices of the Telecom Channel and the Hour of Hope Trust.
