Alfred Ogbamey, Managing Editor of the Defunct Gye Nyame Concord says he does not see any �smaller� political party winning the upcoming elections. Referring to the Convention People�s Party (CPP), Progressive People Party (PPP), People�s National Convention (PNC), United Front Party (UFP), Mr Ogbamey said even though he acknowledges the fact that the afore-mentioned political parties are working hard to convince the electorate, winning this year's election is improbable. He was commenting on the just ended Presidential debate organized by the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA). The Second and Final presidential debate was held on Wednesday night with the four Presidential aspirants of political parties with representation in Parliament, answering questions on corruption, gender, oil and gas, judgement debts and so on. The aspirants, President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Nana Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Hassan Ayariga of the People�s National Convention (PNC) and Dr Abu Sakara of the Convention People�s Party (PNC), unanimously pledged their commitment to ensure that Ghanaians were not short-changed in the management of the country�s resources, especially its oil find. Speaking on Peace FM�s morning show �Kokrokoo� with host Kwami Sefa-Kayi, Alfred Ogbamey said: �The truth is that I don�t take the smaller parties serious in terms of winning this election; I don�t think they have a chance even though I must admit they are working hard and campaigning�� he said.
