Nana Addo Is The Most Dangerous Presidential Candidate Ablakwa

A deputy Minister of Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has labeled the flagbearer of the main opposition NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the most dangerous presidential candidate ahead of the elections. According to Okudzeto Ablakwa, the conduct of Nana Addo during the 'Kumasi Peace declaration' held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology initiated by the Institute for Democratic Governance (IDEG), the Peace Council and the Manhyia Palace is a worrying sign for the country's peace ahead of the elections. All the Presidential candidates on Tuesday met at the KNUST to sign a peace pact in a bid to ensure they commit to a peaceful election process. Nana Akufo Addo when called upon to pledge his partys commitment to peace during the elections stated that People do not feel that the security forces are party color blind, and this fuels anxieties. He added that the recent attack on NPP supporters at Asutifi South by a Minister of state shakes public confidence in elections, as do issues like the lack of investigation into the Yaw Boateng Gyan tape. The president must move beyond discourse and ensure that all these offices and institutions carry out their jobs faithfully and objectively. It is in our interest that the elections come off peacefully and that the outcome is credible. We have reasonable confidence in the systems put in place by EC and we urge that commissions administrators to do their jobs objectively. However speaking in an interview with Joy News, Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa said Nana Addos comments were unnecessary adding that the platform was not the right place for him to attack the President and other security agencies. Clearly Nana Addo is living up to his reputation as the most dangerous candidate ahead of this election...he was at a platform for peace Okudzeto Ablakwa said. He accused Nana Addo of suffering from selective amnesia by deciding to comment on Yaw Boateng Gyans tape and not commenting on that of Anthony Karbo. The deputy Information Minister added that Nana Addos posture has given the NDC a reason to work extra hard to win the elections one touch to avoid any objections from the NPP flagbearer. It is clear that Nana Addo is a threat to the peace in Ghana ahead of the elections and if we dont win this elections one touch then there would be a problem so we are going to work extra hard
