The New Patriotic Party flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo took a tumble when the stage on which he was addressing a crowd caved in at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi, Sunday. Former President Kufuor, who was with him on the stage, suffered the same fate. They however escaped unhurt. According to Citi News� reporter, Sammi Wiafe, Nana Addo was addressing party supporters at a rally in Kumasi when the incident occurred but no causalities were recorded. He reported that the rally came to an abrupt end after incident saying, �the programme is currently on hold because the stage on which the executives as well as the leadership of the party were standing on has just collapsed� All of the executives who were sitting on this particular stage, all of them fell.� He gave the assurance that �he is okay. There is nothing wrong with Nana Akufo-Addo. He is unhurt. He is very, very fine.�
