PPP "Joins" NPP

The Progressive People Party (PPP) has joined the New Patriotic Party (NPP)in accusing the NDC of manipulating the figures from the 2012 elections in an attempt to increase theirs in some constituencies across the country. The party mentioned constituencies such as Assin South, Mpohor and others where the election results of the PPP were drastically reduced. In an interview with Citi News, the Communication Director of the PPP, Richmond Keelson stated that the party was interested in revealing the loop holes in the nation's electoral system. No matter how small our votes were, some of the areas like Assin South, Mpohor, Wulensi and a few others, our results were massaged. That in any way, if indeed it even added to what we had, will not come anywhere close to what the NDC and the NPP had. According to him, the "flawed process has put "the country on edge... We are a party that believes such a flawed process went against them. The NPP is heading to court to challenge the results of the 2012 elections but the PPP has stated it will not seek the same avenue to address its concerns. We dont intend taking any action but we intend telling Ghanaians about the flaws and how our processes have been flawed way back from 1992 to today.
