Minister's Attackers Will Be Found

Deputy Upper West Regional Minister, Kale Caesar, has stated the Regional Security Council (REGSEC) will stop at nothing to bring the perpetrators behind the shooting of the Regional Minister to book. The Regional Minister, Alhaji Amidu Sulemana who is currently on admission at the 37 Military Hospital here in Accra was shot by unknown assailants near Kwalla on the Fielmua/ Gwollu road in the early hours of Friday. Speaking on Citi Eyewitness News, Hon Caesar said the REGSEC had been working to prevent such attacks in the region. �We have been doing a lot but this particular place, you cannot determine when they are going to strike because it�s a long stretch and our security personnel are handicapped,� he said. The Deputy Minister further disclosed, �We just finished a RESEG meeting an hour ago to see how we will map out a solid security work plan to combat these guys. We are on top of issues. We are not leaving any stone unturned to unravel this security threat. We are going to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book�. Alhaji Sulemana, who won the Sissala West seat in the recent Parliamentary elections, was on a tour of the constituency to thank the people for voting for him when the incident occurred.
