Over 3000 personnel have been absorbed into the security agencies under the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency, formerly NYEP. According to the National Co-coordinator, Abuga Pele, the personnel have gone through successive training programmes. He told XYZNEWS GYEDA will improve upon the existing mechanisms to make the agency function properly. �Under the exit plan of the programme, over 5,000 beneficiaries have been recruited permanently into jobs,� he added. He said GYEDA is going to ensure that everyone who gets the opportunity to go through the system receives the needed support in order to survive on some livelihood.
