Okyeame Kwame Declares Felly As The New Queen of Rap

It was fairly a act to witness on Saturday night at the Tantra Nightclub, as the rap doctor, Okyeame Kwame took the stage to intrude a performance by Felly, to declare to a massive crowd that Felly is the undoubtedly the very best female rapper to emerge on the GH rap scene. The unanticipated declaration was made during the official revelation party of Lynx Entertainments latest act, Felly. The night was characterized by swanky dcor and glamorous fashion coupled with amazing performances from Fellys label mates, D3 and Zigi. Fellys debut music video, Ghana Girl Swag was also premiered at the event. The main highlight of the night though, was Fellys performance. After being introduced by Lynx Entertainments C.E.O, Richie Mensah, the Miss Ghana finalist turned rapper rocked the crowd with a combination an alluring dance moves and mean punch lines in an engaging freestyle act before jumping into her debut singles, Ghana Girl Swag and Kotohor. It was during her performance of the banging hip hop tune Ghana Girl Swag, that, a visibly excited and truly enthralled, Okyeame Kwame, stormed the stage and declared, I have never seen a lady rap like this, she has the swag, she has the lyrics, punchlines on point and she looks good! So tonight, I officially crown you the queen of rap in GH to rapturous applause from the excited crowd. Afterwards, the rap doctor stated that he had heard rumours of Fellys talent, and actually went to the event in order to find for himself if she could live up to her billing. As it turns out, he was quite positively impressed. In a talk with other female rappers in the entertainment industry, most of them, names withheld express discontent with the declaration by Okyeame Kwame. According to them, there are talented female rappers in Ghana now who are doing impressively well. Fellys introduction to the scenes is just to top up to the already brilliant ones in the industry. Some also see that declaration to be a funny statement by the rap doctor and did not want to pay much attention on that.
