Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo may do a great deal of service to himself by requesting his close pal, Daddy Lumba, to give him a remix of his song �Ye Ne Wo Sre Kwa,� as happenings within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) point to the fact that people are working against his interest. There is a coup plot against Nana Addo and the entire national executive of the party ahead of agenda 2016, although the coup plotters are smiling with Nana Addo and have portrayed that they support the ongoing court petition challenging the results of the December 7, 2012 Presidential elections. The Enquirer newspaper has delved deep into the affairs of the NPP and there is no doubt that Nana Addo and the National Executive are being undermined by members of their own party. Without any fear of contradiction, The Enquirer has stumbled on intelligence about moves by some old national executives and a Deputy Director of Communications of the party who are touring the country with messages to the grass roots executives that Nana Addo is not just good for the party. The moves are different from a clandestine meeting that was recently held at a location at East Legon, in Accra, to map out strategies as to how to make Nana Addo, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey and Mr. Kwadwo Osusu Afriyie, look extremely bad among party supporters and sympathizers. As a matter of fact, a former youth organizer of the party is touring the country with a message that the current leadership should be made away with in the event that the petition before the Supreme Court does not succeed. Again, a Deputy Communications Director of the party has been going round, scheming to become the General Secretary of the party, although the current national executives have over year to be in office before elections could be held. That particular person contested in the party�s primaries to elect Parliamentary candidates in the Greater Accra Region but lost. Again, a National Executive member is also going round with the sole ambition of unseating Mr. Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey, the national chairman of the party. The move, according to NPP insiders, undermines the party�s presence at the Supreme Court. What is more serious is the rationale behind the whole agenda, if the schemers firmly believe that the NPP won the December 7, 2012 Presidential election. The Enquirer gathered from its deep penetration into the affairs of the NPP that the whole agenda is to be sure that Nana Addo does not lead the NPP again in any future election should the petition at the Supreme Court fail. The agenda against Nana Addo would only be successful if the current national executives are also voted out, as their presence would disorganize affairs at the polling, constituency and regional levels.
