NPPs Petition To The Supreme Court Is Bogus And Rubbish Allotey Jacobs

The Central Regional Communications Director for the NDC, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has rebuked the leadership of the New Patriotic Party in the persons of Nana Akufo-Addo, Dr. Bawumia,Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey and Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie; for misleading their core supporters with hopes that their bogus petition to the Supreme Court would later nullify the NDCs stay in office. In an interview with Kwame Nkrumah on Okay FMs Ade Akye Abia programme, Allotey Jacobs advised his political opponents to go back to the drawing board and work out plans to establish the party as a formidable force. Though the NPP later uncovered series of irregularities and presented them to the Supreme Court on 31st January, 2013,Allotey Jacobs described their findings as rubbish and one that smacks of proper human reasoning. Having scrutinized the results of about 26,000 polling stations across the country, the NPP led by their leaders invoked the powers of the Supreme Court through a formal petition, to overturn the election results that made President John Dramani Mahama winner of the 2012 presidential election. According to the plaintiffs, irregularities recorded during the elections favoured the NDC, with an initial claim that 24,000 of the pink results sheets from some polling stations indicated that those irregularities were enough to affect the results. He refused to take things lightly and reproached them for gleefully wasting their time instead of working hard to win the 2016 elections. The NPPs petition to the Supreme Court is bogus...I repeat, bogus and rubbish...it beats the imagination of human reasoning. This is simply waste of time and the best thing for them to do as a political party, is to go back to the drawing board and plan for 2016. "They are destroying the party, he said to conclude his view on the NPPs petition to the Supreme Court.
