President John Dramani Mahama on Monday presented a bull to the Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Command towards the celebration of this year�s West Africa Security Social Activities (WASSA). It was also in recognition of their performance in ensuring peaceful Election in 2012. Mr Chaahaah B. Felix, Chief Director of the Regional Coordinating Council ,who presented the bull on behalf of President Mahama said the performance of the police was excellent and should be appreciated since no significant incident was recorded in the Region especially during the elections. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Robert Ayalingo, Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Commander, expressed appreciation to President Mahama for identifying the performance of the police in the Region. He said the gift was in fulfilment of President Mahama�s promise during his nationwide working visit to equip the Ghana Police Service to work efficiently. DCOP Ayalingo pledged the commitment of the personnel not to relent in their efforts to ensure peace in the country and the provision of security to the citizenry.
