The Tema Police Command has mounted a search for three prisoners who broke jail on midnight of Saturday at the Tema fishing Habour police station. The three Ebenezer Nyagbedzi, 19, and Eliasu Mohammed and Daniel Kwame Kumi, both 20 escaped through the cell�s roofing. The escapees were said to have been brought back from the police hospital where they received treatment. Eliasu and Daniel were due to be sent to the Nsawam Prison on Sunday. This is about the second time criminals have escaped custody in the Tema Police Command. In an interview with Citi News PRO of the Tema Police Command corporal Joseph Barabu appealed to the general public to assist them with information leading to the re-arrest of the fugitives. �We want to assure the general public that the police will continue to pursue them till they are brought to book. We appeal to the public to furnish us with relevant information which will lead to the arrest of these miscreants,� he said.
