Nana Addo Tried To Deceive Us With His Diminutive Stature But His Old Age Exposed Him

Prior to the 2008 general elections, Nana Akufo-Addo according to Johnson Aseidu Nketia, tried all his possible best to use his diminutive stature to outwit the late former President Mills during his campaign; to incite Ghanaians against voting for an old man. If you could remember, when Nana Addo begun his campaign, he presented himself as a youthful president. As you can see, his diminutive nature makes it harder to detect he is old and begun his campaign with a youth jamboree at the beaches. He joined in the Azonto craze and positioned himself as the youthful person and painted the NDC as a party full of older men, - Asiedu Nketia. Asiedu Nketia was elaborating on Mr. Kwame Pianims suggestion in an interview he granted the Africawatch magazine that it was time for the New Patriotic Party to elect younger breeds with in-depth knowledge in information technology, as leaders of the party. According to Asiedu Nketia, who is often referred to as General Mosquito, Mr. Pianims petition to the party, is a step in the right direction and shouldnt be ignored by the NPP. If the NPP are the first to use the issue of voting for young men as a campaign tool, then they have no point to be embittered if a party member is reminding them stick to their principle, he advised. General Mosquito overtly stated on Okay FMs Ade Kye Abia programme that in 2008, the presidential candidate for the NPP and his campaign team, devised mechanisms to brain wash Ghanaians that Nana Addo had all the qualities expected of a youth. In Asiedu Nketias view, the emergence of President Mahama as flagbearer for the NDC in the run up to the 2012 general elections, was a plan well orchestrated by God and didn't just happen by chance. He explicitly stated that it became a done deal for the then candidate Mahama to win over Nana Addo because the latter had constantly campaigned with youthful matters.
