Madam Akua Donkor, Presidential candidate for Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), has indicated that she is not aggrieved that Papa Kwesi Ndoum, flagbearer of the Progressive People�s Party (PPP) took away the Toyota Tundra from her. According to her, she has her own car, adding �Papa Kwesi Ndoum is deceiving himself if he thought I was going to walk�. One can recall the Toyota Tundra became a matter of controversy when Papa Kwesi asked Akua Donkor to return it since it was given to her for campaign purposes. Akua Donkor however, refused to give the car back but at the end of the day, Papa Kwesi Nduom sent his �men� to take the car when Akua Donkor was not home. Speaking in an interview on Peace FM�s midday news; Independence Day special, Akua Donkor indicated: �I have my own car but my driver is only familiar with Kumasi route and not that of Accra and so I didn�t bring it to the celebration. My car number is AS 1919-11; a strong Toyota Corolla I bought with my own money. Even before Papa Kwesi invited me to work with him, I had my own car�� Akua Donkor who was at the Independence Square for the 56th Independence Day celebration, also pleaded with the president to pay attention to the school children who have been fainting regularly during the parade due to heat, hunger and standing for a long time; �at least he should give them food to eat before going to the parade because I saw a boy and a girl collapsing��. Asked if she would have exchanged pleasantries with Papa Kwesi Nduom had she met him, she said: �because of his bad intentions, he will not even come there for the Independence celebration. He doesn�t have good intentions for the country - but as for me I don�t have anything against him�I am only fighting for the interest of the country��
