PPP Communicator Condemns Chris Brown

A leading member of the Progressive People's Party, Charles Owusu has vehemently condemned the conduct of American R&B superstar, Chris Brown, for promoting the use of marijuana in Ghana. News started creeping in after American-born Grammy award winner, Chris Brown took to stage on Tuesday, March 5 to entertain music fans at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra. Following a terrific performance from him, he reportedly smoked a substance believed to be wee in an attempt to promote the use of marijuana in the country. Though organizers of the Hope City Launch concert which saw Chris Brown perform on the eve of the independence day, have debunked the reports in the media; critics have taken their reasons in doubt. Contributing to Peace FMs political programme Kokrokoo, Charles Owusu wondered how Chris Breezy as widely called by his fans, could go scot free. Noting his behaviour as an affront to the moral fabric of the nation, he decried Chris Browns conduct and therefore chided Ghanaians for treating him with kid gloves. Do you know that the American Embassy is situated on our land? But they say the land belongs to America. You will be arrested if you take photographs there. They say we shouldnt take photographs there because the place belongs to them. Its their land and they have enacted a law disallowing anybody to take photos there. If you dare, you will be arrested. Because the boy does not respect us and we sometimes stigmatize ourselves, hes travelled from his homeland to insult us, gulped alcohol and smoked wee here. He insulted us, yet we got people to escort him to Airport while he departed from this country. he said.
