"We Will Kill Ourselves To Beat Sudan" Kwesi Appiah

Ghana head coach Kwesi Appiah says the team will do whatever it takes on the field of play to beat Sudan to keep alive their hopes to clinch the sole qualification ticket from Group D. Kwesi Appiah who led Ghana to the 2013 AFCON in South Africa revealed to the media that he has in possession footages of the Sudanese and will technically strategize his team to match them. I have got some tapes of them (Sudan) and we have played them several times. Sudan is not like most African countries where most of them do travel. Most of them are locally based, he said. Ghanas darling boy Christian Atsu was forced to withdraw from the forthcoming 2014 World Cup qualifying fixture against Sudan due to an ankle injury whiles playing for club, FC Porto in the Portuguese league, but coach Kwesi Appiah says he has an option. I have never believed the idea of sticking to one player. I always believe that the nation is bigger and we always need to look at the bigger picture of Ghana and getting players. Since I took over, my main objective is to build a team that has got atleast two or three players in each position so for that reason if someone get injured I should be able to get a someone to take his place, he added. All twenty three players including three goalkeepers are currently in camp for the Black Stars preparations towards the must-win game against the Nile Crocodiles in Kumasi on Sunday.
