Dr. Kwame Addo Kufuor, Former Defense Minister has a challenged anyone who has records of his bank statement detailing his riches to make it public. This follows Dr. Kufuor�s fury over continuous media reports which suggest that the former MP for Manhyia is one of the wealthiest men in Ghana, though there is no evidence to that effect. Speaking to Citi News, one of the lawyers for Dr. Addo Kufuor, Abu Jinapor says the former Defense Minister is not happy about these publications. �Indeed, our client is never one of the richest men in Ghana. He�s been a successful Physician Consultant; he�s been by and large a successful Politician who has served with distinction and integrity.� He called on the general public to �disregard these kinds of publications and these kinds of rumor. Dr. Addo Kufuor is a self made man who has worked through the ranks of medical service and worked in the public sphere as a politician; Minister of State, Minister of Defense, Minister of Interior.� �He has never claimed or in reality be one of the richest men in Ghana,� Mr. Jinapor added.
