Information available to peacefmonline.com indicates that the husband of a renowned musician and herbalist, popularly known as Semenhyia has committed suicide.
Narrating the incident, Mrs. Ellen Semenhyia Acheampong popularly known as Madam Se Menhyia, who is also the owner of the Se Menhyia Herbal Clinic at Kasoa said her husband Mr. Stephen Amoako, 62 shot himself for reasons unknown to her.
The incident which occurred on Sunday afternoon attracted a lot of people to the scene but could not enter the room where the shots were heard until the police came.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM Midday news, Madam Semenhia said: �We have been married for 22 years now have four children but I don�t know what will lead him to shoot himself. It is only God who knows and so we leave it in his hands�
According to the police, Mr Amoako on several occasions have been threatening to commit suicide due to a few marital challenges.
Mr. Amoako was said to have given a warning shot three times before shooting himself in the lower part of his armpit.
Meanwhile, the police are conducting investigations into what led to the suicide. The body has since been deposited at the morgue of the police hospital.
