Ohemeng makes it to the next stage of MTN Spoons Competition

Joe Ohemeng, former captain of the Celebrity Golf Club, Sakumono progressed to the next stage of the MTN Spoons Golf competition at the Celebrity Golf Club over the weekend. He made this progress in a competition, that saw 12 others including Mike Ikpoki, Managing Director of lead sponsors, MTN, Francis Emile Short, former Commissioner of Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) among others, drawing bye for the penultimate phase of the event. The winner of the next phase would have a date with those who drew a bye, as the MTN boss is expected to pick his spoon for the final stages in May, this year, whilst Lawyer Kwasi Poku, despite his excellent performance on the day lost his spoon to Eric Djibo. The likes of Kojo Choi, Ekow Nyarko, Isaac Awuni, Rob Killick, Nahesh Shetty, Pamela Yeboa and Ayoub Ghandour also exhibited excellent performance on the day to ensure their progression in the competition. Presentations were made to winners of last year�s competition won by Martin Osei with Hebin Yang and Joe Ohemeng being the first and second runners up respectively. The 18-hole golf fiesta was specially designed to reach MTN�s key VIP�s with handicaps ranging 18 and 24 respectively. The Spoons tourney played on a point accumulation format was aimed at rewarding loyal customers of MTN as well as interact its high value subscribers.
