Udinese Star Agyemang-Badu Calls For Patience For Kotoko Players

Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu reckons Kotokos current crop of players need time to fit into the clubs philosophy. The Ghanaian Premier League title holders have been inconsistent in the local top flight league though they are impressive in the Caf Champions League. The Porcupine Warriors held Algerian side JSM Bjaa to a pulsating 0-0 stalemate in the first-leg of the final knock out round of the continents flagship club competition after eliminating Equatorialguinean side Sony Ela Nguema 8-0 on aggregate. However the 21-time league champions have picked 7 points from a possible 12 in their last four games and they sit second on the Glo Premier League table trailing leaders Medeama SC (35) with two points. And, Badu who enjoyed a short stint with the two-time African champions before moving to the Stadio Communale Friuli in 2010 after a botched move to Spanish side Recreativo Huelva feels Kotoko players need more time to gel. Kotoko is a big club and the mention of the name brings geese bumps to my skin so I want to see the club perform all the time but I also feel that the players need to push the club forward, he sad. Kotoko will secure passage to the Money Zone of the CAF Champions League if they are able to negotiate a win against JSM Bjaa in their return leg clash at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
