NDC: We Are Not Perturbed By NPP Engineered UK Demo

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) says they are not moved by the demonstration organised by Ghanaians living in the United Kingdom (UK). Several Ghanaians in the UK on Friday; holding placards with various inscriptions, embarked on a demonstration in London to send home their displeasure at what they describe as "the current economic hardship in Ghana". The National Women's Organizer of the NDC, Anita De Sousou, commenting on demonstration, accused the NPP of being behind the protest march. Speaking to Peace FM in an interview, she said "it is not surprising this is happening at a time such as this because that is what the NPP have been doing anytime the NDC comes to power Even though the UK demonstrators have underpinned that they are not affiliated to any political party, Madam De Sousou insists that they belong to the opposition NPP According to her, even their utterances and reason for the demonstration have given them away. They belong to the NPP. That is what they have been saying all this while. She alluded to the fact that if the UK demonstrators are complaining of hardship in the economy, they should come to Ghana to help make it better. We are not perturbed; they claim the economy is bad but during former President Kufuors time it was worse. Everybody can use the Ghana flag. They claim the economy is hard but why dont they come and struggle with us in this country and help make the economy better?
