Win More Souls For Christ

The Chairman of the Council of Inter-Africa Clergy Council, Bishop Dr. Elias Kyei Fayaa, has urged his fellow ministers of the Gospel to ensure that the contents of their preaching contained messages of what he called the end time to their congregations. According to him, it was one of the surest ways of ensuring that Christians rededicated themselves to the course of their creator and their religion, adding that happenings over a period of time has shown that the end time is near. Bishop Dr. Fayaa was speaking at the 27th ordination of the Inter-Africa Clergy Council and FAYAA School Ministries at Community 12, Tema, yesterday. The occasion was to mark the ordination of 30 ministers of the gospel who were trained by the council and the FAYAA School Ministries over a period of three months. Seventeen of the ordained men and women of the gospel, according to Bishop Dr. Fayaa, were trained as Apostles while the rest were Reverend Ministers. He continued that they were trained in areas such as the Minister and the Law, adding that it was important to give them an idea into what the constitutions of the country said about their religion and its leadership. He stated that they were also trained in Church Planting, the Minister and the Church, Church Investment, Ministry Investment as well as ways to grow the church and propagate the word of God to Christians so as to win more souls for Christ. He described the ordination ceremony as one of the best the Council ever witnessed and hoped that subsequent ordinations would be much better than this. We can only be grateful to God for such a wonderful occasion like this. As you can see, we have just ordained 30 Apostles and Reverend Ministers of God. We have urged them to go out there and propagate the messages of end time, Bishop Dr. Fayaa noted. Turning his attention to fake men of God who engaged in activities that are contrary to the teaching of the Bible, he warned that God forbids that and added that Gods punishment for such crimes would be unbearable. To the group that had just been ordained, he urged them to always remind their congregants of the second coming of Jesus Christ through their sermons and anytime they got the opportunity to interact with their members. You all here should make a conscious effort in making your renewal of the covenant you have with your God your priority. It is when you renew your relationship with your creator that he will take care of all your troubles and make them His, he said to them. Putting God ahead of every activity, he noted, was something they should always ensure to do. That, according to him, brought a lot of blessings into their lives because God blesses those who call on him. Earlier in a sermon, Bishop Emmanuel Albert Decker, International Field Director of the Inter-Africa Clergy Council noted that sometimes Christians are blinded by Gods grace upon their lives and instead keep lamenting about what He has not done for them. He mentioned that a lot of Christians spent a lot of time focusing their attention on things they have not been able to achieve in their lives. He explained that what they did not know is that such situations swayed their recognition of Gods blessing on their lives. He encouraged them to remain committed to their God and religion, reminding them that their actions, at the end, would determine their fate.
