Sir John: Weve Backed Up Our Evidence Because We Know Were Battling Against "Demons And Thieves"

General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, has stated that the petitioners know that they are in battle against thieves and demons so has therefore taken steps to back-up the evidence they have presented to the Supreme Court. He made this statement in reference to the latest ruling in the on-going Supreme Court petition hearing, in which a full audit of the evidence presented before the court by the three petitioners, has been ordered. What makes us happy is the fact that we know we are in a battle with demons and thieves so we duplicate everything we do. Everything na double, double. So after serving the Judges and the respondents with our evidence, we made a soft copy onto a CD ROM. Because of this we are even able to check every pink sheet in contention on our own during proceedings, he explained. Someone even told me that the people have gone to steal some of the pink sheets so there is a shortfall in the numbers, but I told him that may be true but no one can tamper with the ones on the CD ROM, in the possession of the Judges, Sir John explained. Speaking on Adom TV channel on MultiTV, he allayed the fears of all party faithfuls and well meaning Ghanaians following the proceedings of the highest court of the land whiles the 2012 election results are being contested.
