Ghana's Ambassador to Egypt, H.E Alhaji Said Sinare, has called on Ghanaians to be vigilant and selfless in contributing jealously to safeguard the country�s peace and security.
He said it is a sacred responsibility on the part of every citizen to help state institutions like the police to deal with miscreants with the intention to throw the country into the abyss.
According to Alhaji Sinare it is the collective responsibility of every well meaning Ghanaian to refuse, condemn and reject acts that tend to create confusion and undermine authority.
He said the attitude and posture of the pro New Patriotic Party (NPP) group ��Let My Vote Count�� (LMVC) is suspicious of a faction with the intention to set the country ��ablaze�� should they lose the Supreme Court case.
He questioned the morality and the wisdom in demonstrations being organized by LMVC across the globe.
��You see these guys say they believe in the courts and have subsequently challenged the 2012 elections at the supreme court which is in progress, thus why the haste in drawing conclusions and trying so hard to put Ghana�s name in disrepute in the eyes of the international community as if the country is on fire. But, you know the very foundation of the country is strong and solid. Ghana will not ��burn�� it is not ��burning,�� Sinare said.
In a telephone interview with Radio Gold Alhaji Sinare who doubles as a Vice Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC)said there was the need for the good people of Ghana help the security agencies with vital information which will lead to neutralize any �evil machinations by the enemies of Ghana.
��The NPP cannot take Ghanaians hostage because we will not pay any ransom.��
I will take this opportunity to call on the international community to keep faith with the president Mahama led administration as he continues to make Ghana a better place for all.
He emphasized that the investment climate is still green, the country is peaceful and the president is ready to partner investors from within and without for mutual benefit and to also create jobs for the people.
Sharing his thought on the recent fire outbreaks in some markets in Accra including Kantamanto, the one time Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso Central said he smells an ��Elephant.��
��This is the time to come together as a people regardless of Our political affiliation and fight the common enemy �violence� and strive to retain and maintain the current peace and stability for accelerated development.
Ghana is the only country we have, don�t let us sit unconcerned for we are dealing with ��predictable�� people. Let us keep our eyes and ears open.�� Alhaji Sinare stated.
