Berekum Arsenal's official withdrawal letter from the Ghana Premier League was officially received by the Ghana Football Association on Wednesday afternoon, Ghana Sports can confirm. The Berekum-based side announced their withdrawal from the Ghanaian top-flight after what they claim is unfair treatment from the Ghana Football Association and the organisers of the Ghanaian league - the PLB. The GFA's disciplinary wing had slapped a $4000 fine on the club following their fans attack on Hearts of Oak during their league game in Berekum in December and were in line to receive another sanction after similar incidence took place on Sunday during their game with Kotoko. GFA Emergency Committee is expected to decide the next line of action and apply the rules and regulations of the situation. However, Ghana Sports have learnt Arsenal chief Yakubu Moro has been talked into rescinding his decision to quit the league.
