VEEP Asks IFC To Increase Financial Portfolio To Ghana

Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, has impressed upon the International Finance Corporation, IFC, of the World Bank, to increase its financing portfolio in the country with focus on small and medium enterprises. He asked the Corporation to also invest in the domestic market to help broadent the base of the economy. Vice President Amissah-Arthur said this when the Vice President of the IFC in charge of Sub-Saharan Africa, Jean Phillipe Prosper together with the officials of the World Bank paid a courtesy call on him at the Flagstaff House in Accra.
