"Who Cares About Dr. Bawumias Analysis Of The Pink Sheets?

A member of the NDC communication team has called on Ghanaians to rejoice about the court proceeding because sooner than later the true verdict would be announced as Tsatsu Tsikata has succeeded in punching holes in the evidence of Dr. Bawumia. Mohammed Sukah believes on the face of the evidence before the Supreme Court, the case is favoring the NDC, indicating that interesting revelations are emanating from Tsatsu Tsikatas cross-examination as Dr. Bawumia has also admitted mistakes in the affidavits of the petitioners. Speaking on Okay FM, Mohammed Sukah opined that the only ruling of this case by the Supreme Court Judges will be electoral reforms as Tsatsu Tsikata has pinpointed in his cross-examination that the petitioners have piled up mistakes in their affidavits. "With this, the petitioners through Dr. Bawumia, have confessed the mistakes, thereof but then he (Dr. Bawumia) has suggested to the judges to deal with the substantive issue in the affidavits," the NDC communicator said. He added that on the face of the pink sheet the substance of the matter is that the areas where the petitioners have alleged to be annulled because of irregularities should be assessed well because the voters committed no errors as they provided the requirement needed for voting and so annulling their votes will disenfranchise their right to vote. He indicated that the petitioners do not have any case because it is a known fact to Ghanaians that the Electoral Commission ordered the 2012 election to be halted in areas where the verification machines were not functioning. He however said that the testimony of Dr. Afari Gyan and the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia will reveal certain truths about the 2012 election; stressing that the petitioners cannot prove that voting took place at polling centers whose existence they were not aware of. He was of the hope that at the end of this case President Mahama and the NDC will emerge victorious. Who cares about Dr. Bawumias analysis of the pink sheets? He can boast of his analysis but what is needed is that the pink sheets are the source of their evidence on which he had sworn affidavits to use in court and so every mistake must be referred to the pink sheets and not his analysis, he insisted.
