Bishop Decries Craze For Miracles

Most Rev. Peter K. Sarpong, former Catholic Archbishop Emeritus of the Kumasi Archdiocese has described as unfortunate the stampede that occurred at the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) and has prayed that Christians will endeavor to have their faith in God remain resolute. Several people got injured and 4 died at SCOAN during a rush for anointing water which has been blessed by the leader and founder of the church, Prophet TB Joshua. Speaking to Hello FM's King Edward monday, Most Rev. Sarpong noted that it should not come to a time where Christians will have to die because of their human craze for miracles. These things are devilish and should not be countenanced in the Christian circles he noted. He added that Christians should stay focused on their Christian values and learn to pray on their own than trying to seek help from men who might be using the name of God to exploit the poor.
