Derek Boateng Seals Fulham Deal: I Will Die In Fulham

Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng who has completed a two-year deal to join London based Fulham Football Club has said his dream for playing in the worlds most hyped league, the English Premiere League (EPL) has come to pass and will be willing to retire there. The Ghanaian midfielder finalized his move to the Craven Cottage and will join the team this summer for their pre-season training. In an interview with Asempa FM, Derek Boateng stated clearly that he will never again sign for any club in his career. I am very happy to have signed for Fulham and I will do my best for the club, when asked by the host whether he will want to play in Italy, he said I will not go back to Italy again; I will die here in Fulham. I will not go anywhere again. My dream was to play in England and here am I. Boateng, 30, has seen moves from Ukrainian club Dnipro to Craven Cottage collapse last year but has promised to work hard for a position in his new club so as not to warm up from bench. However, Boateng said he has been well abreast by deputy Black Stars captain and former Fulham player John Paintsil to work hard for the club and leave a good legacy just as he did. John Paintsil has briefed me a lot about Fulham and I am very happy with that. He (John Paintsil) left a good legacy here in Fulham and that is what I would also want to do. I have already started training with the club and hoping for the best, he said.
