An earth tremor measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale hit Akuse and Adidome on Thursday, Chief Director of the Ghana Survey Department John Adjei Duodu has confirmed.
Speaking on TV3�s News 360 on Thursday, Mr Duodu disclosed that the tremor occurred around 1:30 pm.
Mr Duodu revealed last year that with the introduction of the Seismic Monitoring Network equipment earth tremors seem to be a daily occurrence in Ghana.
The automatic locator has detected more earthquake-prone areas in Ghana, he said.
