ELECTION PETITION: Afari-Gyan Testifies

The Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan has mounted the witness box to give his evidence-in-chief on behalf of the commission on Day 24 of the hearing of the ongoing election petition at the Supreme Court. He is being led in evidence by James Quarshie Idun. It follows the conclusion of the cross examination of the NDC General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia by lead counsel for the petitioners, Philip Addison on Wednesday. The petitioners are contesting the declaration of President John Dramani Mahama as the winner of the December 2012 presidential polls. More soon...
